Jenny Hodgson has been a supporter and donor of the Hong Kong Arts Festival ever since its inception in 1972. In her #MyHKAFStory, Jenny recalls meeting Ian Hunter, the HKAF’s first artistic director, while working at Prince’s Building with Philip Schlee.

One of the foremost advocates for the performing arts, Sir Ian Hunter was instrumental in bringing top international artists to Hong Kong. Cordially known as “Mr Festival”, he had previously been involved in the establishment and promotion of many arts festivals, including the renowned Edinburgh International Festival.
