Desmond Tang is a veteran theatre artist in Hong Kong. He has taken part in many productions in different capacities in previous Festivals, as a producer, director and actor. In his #MyHKAFStory, he shares his special memory of being an actor in the popular theatre production 𝘔𝘶𝘳𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘢𝘯 𝘑𝘰𝘴𝘦́ at the 37th HKAF in 2009, a production which also later toured to Singapore.

“I have a lot of memories from this production. My first child was born around the time of the second performance, so when we toured Singapore with the production, I really missed my child. I am very thankful to all the HKAF staff, both front of house and behind the scenes, for taking care of me. Best wishes for more wonderful productions in the next 50 years.”
