Alvin has been supporting the Hong Kong Arts Festival since his student days. He thinks that a good arts festival brings unique character to the city, and he shares his #MyHKAFStory about the outdoor programme 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵, held at Kowloon Walled City Park.

“I remember there was a programme at the HKAF, titled 𝘗𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘳 𝘗𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘵, around ten years ago. It was held at Kowloon Walled City Park, and through the use of light and shadow, it completely changed the space in which we live our daily lives. When I studied architectural design years later, I finally understood how ‘experiential design’ could be applied in placemaking. Back then, I was impressed with how avant-garde the Festival was.”
