Technology—a bridge connecting artist, community and audience
The Collective is a local cross-media creative agency communicating with audiences through immersive and interactive artworks with the aid of projection mapping and other technological approaches. Their traces, which can be found across the city, are awaiting the public’s responses and interactions with social media. Gimmick is never their motivation behind these enjoyable artworks. Instead, their works call for public awareness towards animals' conservations and show their endeavour to protect the natural environment.
As another Arts Tech Creative Competition advisor, they remind students to use technology wisely to transform their ideas into a meaningful artwork.
The 50th HKAF special project "Laila" is a co-production of the HKAF and the Finnish National Opera and Ballet (FNOB). Together with a series of outreach and education events, the special project is solely sponsored by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust.
